Sport has been an interest of mine all my life. Hockey, rugby and tennis were the ones I played most until I discovered clay pigeon shooting and archery. Having spent many years coaching tennis and gaining my LTA Level 5 qualification it enabled me to coach all ages and abilities.
I branched out and qualified with GB Archery to teach archery, KATTA for axe and knife throwing and APSI for shooting instruction. Seeing people improve and develop their confidence in a new sport was so enjoyable that, with the support of my wife, I sold our house and moved to Pembrokeshire a beautiful part of Wales to be able to set up my own business; Aim Country Sports, teaching Archery in various forms and also Axe throwing. I am passionate about encouraging people to try out new sports and seeing someone glow with pride after hitting a target for the first time is still one of my greatest pleasures.
I still load, drive and instruct on the peg during the shooting season, if this service interests you please click here.
